Education, credentials, and clinical approach
Dr. Ajay Kumar Jha is Chair of the Department of Hemato-Oncology at Kathmandu University, appointed by the University Executive Council in June 2024. With over 25 years of experience, he is a senior academic clinician specializing in pediatric and adult hematology-oncology, bone marrow transplantation, and medical education.
He holds a DM in Hematology & Oncology from PGIMER, Chandigarh (2012), an MD in Pediatrics from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal (2006), and an MBBS from BPKIHS, Dharan (2000). He has established full-fledged Departments of Hematology & Pediatric Oncology at Grande International Hospital and Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
